TAILORED TO YOU

The Finishing Touch to Any Home

Choosing the right windows for your property is important. Whatever you choose will play a huge part in determining the visual character and practicality of day-to-day living in your home.

The right windows can open your home up to the sounds of birds singing in the garden, as well as blocking out the rumble of everyday traffic. They can flood your rooms with warm summer sunshine or keep out the icy blast of winter.

Timber Windows

Our solid engineered timber windows offer the beauty and authenticity of real wood, with all the benefits and convenience of modern glazing systems.
OUR RANGE

L+L Windows are available in these styles...

Casement Windows

A casement is a window that is attached to its frame by one or more hinges at the side. They are used singly or in pairs within a common frame, in which case they are hinged on the outside. Casement windows are often held open using a casement stay.

Lipped casement windows are also referred to as "stormproof windows", and have been designed so that the casement sash sits proud and slightly overlaps the window frame.

Our casement windows are all made to measure and are available in all 3 materials – timber, uPVC and aluminium.

Flush Windows

Unlike Casement windows, Flush windows are designed so that the outside of the window sits flush with the frame, giving a traditional aesthetic for properties that are replacing timber flush windows, or for those wanting traditional looks, yet with a clean and fuss-free design finish.
These can be specified with a standard welded (mitre) corner, or a more traditional 'timber look' joint which has become the most popular choice.

Storm Windows

All the beauty of timber without the drawbacks! No expensive maintenance, no laborious sanding and painting.

This beautiful, highly energy-efficient timber-alternative window comes with an A rating as standard, not as an added extra. In addition, the excellent security features mean your home is always safe, warm and secure.

Sliding Sash Windows

Traditional style meets modern convenience and performance.

Our sliding sash windows are draught-free and meet the latest insulation specifications, whilst retaining a period look. Available in either uPVC or Timber finishes.
These are ideal for replacing original sash windows as they will provide a similar dimension of frame & opening operation with the added advantage of modern touches like a tilt facility to allow easy cleaning from inside the room.

We can also carry out a full renovation of the surround of the original box sash window using timber architraves to leave your new sash window installation looking like an authentic sash albeit in a now maintenance free material.

Tilt & Turn Windows

This type of window functions in two ways: The tilt function opens the top of the sash inwards for ventilation, whilst the turn function creates an inward opening side hung operation.

Tilt & Turn windows can be cleaned from the inside and can also be used as emergency exits.

Tilt & Turn windows have the ability to push designs to a new level. Due to their unique lock and hinge system, these windows are able to be made in larger sizes, going far beyond the limits of casement and flush windows. For ventilation they tilt inwards, and for maintenance and full air flow the windows are able to open fully, much like a door.
