OUR RANGE
L+L Conservatories are available in these styles...
Gable-fronted Conservatories
Adapted from traditional orangery designs, the gable-fronted conservatory is a real classic. If you want your conservatory to make a definite statement, it's worth considering this one.
From stately homes to the humblest of cottages, the gable-fronted conservatory has a real presence and can be designed to complement most properties.
"Sunbust" designs or the architectural elegance of upright mullions can be used to create your own styling.
Consider this design if you are looking for a feeling of great expanse to your conservatory.
P, T & L -Shaped Conservatories
Let your imagination really run wild by considering an L-shaped, P-shaped or T-shaped conservatory!
The versatility of an L+L conservatory can be exploited to the full by, in effect, creating two rooms in one.
The P shape is really an amalgamation of two classic styles – the functional lean-to style with either a period Victorian or regal Georgian. The layout of these conservatory styles gives you a new dimension in flexibility.
You can seat friends around the dining table in one area and enjoy a dinner party in the beautiful atmosphere of your conservatory any time of the year. Then you can retire to the other area in which you have created a comfortable lounge. Perfect!
At L+L we will listen to your ideas and guide you through the vast number of design options until we have created the perfect conservatory for your home and lifestyle.
Georgian Conservatories
The Georgian-style conservatory embraces the beauty of the Victorian style whilst maximising internal space. The majestic look of the Georgian portrays the regal elegance of this period in history.
There are many ways to embellish your Georgian conservatory, such as decorative glass designs and ornate ceiling fans, or you may prefer to accentuate the clean lines of this design by keeping it simple.
You choose!
Lean-to Conservatories
The Lean-to (or Sun Lounge) conservatory is a really flexible design option.
With configurations to cope with a bungalow or low eaves situations, there are few sites where this popular style won’t fit in.
Clean lines, uncomplicated style, and modern – the Lean-to epitomises the minimalist style.
The simple design in no way impedes the durability or appeal of the conservatory though. With careful consideration of the roof glazing material and ventilation required, your L+L Lean-to conservatory can add a flexible extra living space to your home whilst beautifully complimenting its external character.
Victorian Conservatories
This is one of the most popular conservatory designs. With echoes of the Victorian age when elements of Gothic styling were drawn on such as ornate finials and crestings, the Victorian-style conservatory can enhance most properties.
The three or five facet design softens harsh corners, which helps to exude a gentle relaxed style.
Consider the use of decorative quoins on each angle of brickwork to create an attractive feature. Arched bars and decorative stained or bevelled glass can also be used to enhance the period look.
Orangeries
Are you undecided between a traditional extension and a conservatory?
Would you like to add some regal presence to your home?
If so, an Orangery may be just the thing for you.
Our Orangery design gives you more of the feel of a traditional room with the added benefit of a glass roof centrepiece. Coupled with the elegance of a parapet wall and the internal window reveals, an Orangery makes a stylish addition to any home.
The clever detailing which is present in all L+L products comes together in an Orangery and is attractively displayed. Each one is tailored to our customer's individual requirements.
For example, designs can incorporate sash “horns” on the windows; decorative features to the brickwork parapet; purpose-made stone copings; or an under-tile heating system.
