LATITUDE is a unique one off brick build with aluminium cladding featuring a large area of glazing to the rear East facing elevation.  LATITUDE came to us an idea on paper initially from Quantity Surveyors ADCMS in Cheltenham, then later with more input from the developer Robert Weston of RJW. The main design was fairly well finalised, but some techncial areas needed to be engineered to fulfill Architect Andy Hobdey's idea. Several months of work went into negotiations on designs and a colour scheme as well as cost, along with various site meetings. To say we are pleased with the result is an understatement. LATITUDE is definitely up there with one of our larger scale projects & we are very proud to have worked with RJW to deliver a stunning one off property.  The aluminium double glazing was required to have a unique coloured finish, RAL9007 Grey Aluminium was eventually chosen. Products include sliding doors & Tilt and Turn windows, along with some casement windows, with some of the full height glazing apertures 2.4m high! SunflexUK was selected as the main glazing product which along with the German Engineered specification, provides a low U-value. Glass used was St Gobain SuperNeutral laminate glass for protection from the sun.  The main entrance needed to be impressive of course so between L+L Installations and Robert weston the Spitfire S-500 door system was chosen as the statement front door which opens into an impressive double height entrance hall. The Spitfire front door comprises two sidelights plus a full width top light & has a light oak external finish with a neutral matt white inside. Locking is via a slam-shut autolock & a protected high security key cylinder.
