Coln St Aldwyns was our first introduction to not only White Monk Builders, but also the renowned Cirencester Architect Henry Homersham who came to us having found SunflexUK Bifold doors and L+L Installations as the local Retail Partner for SunflexUK products. With their slim section & sightlines as well as high weather rating & various profile options, Henry decided SunflexUK Bifold doors were what he wanted to recommend to his client.
We started by discussing a lot of design for Plot 1 & met in our showroom & on site several times to hone some of the detail. Once this was underway we quite quickly followed on with the specification & ordering for Plot 2 before Plot 1 was even delivered, which for us showed a lot of trust on their part.
The site consists of two detached two storey properties with single storey abutting living areas, plus a single detached bungalow. All have garaging & a generous sized garden area to the rear.
Products selected were Rationel AuraPlus windows & doors, along with SunflexUK sliders & a statement front door for each plot using a Spitfire S-200. The colour scheme throughout is RAL7021 Black Grey inside & out.
Three sets of SunflexUK SF55i Bifolding doors were used in the Kitchen & Dining area, with SF55i Bifold door profiles used as French doors in the Master bedroom to create a uniform design througout.
We have gone on to work with both White Monk Builders again [see Maysey Hampton project] & also Architect Henry Homersham.
