L&L’s “energyLOCK” double glazing systems are available throughout our window, door,conservatory and orangery ranges, giving you the following benefits:
Glazing specification:
Energy saving 28mm double glazed sealed units incorporating low iron, low emissivity (Low E) glass and an argon gas cavity fill. The use of a composite spacer bar brings the specification to an "A" rating for windows. The range also includes toughened, laminated, obscure, solar control, specialist coated and decorative glass.
- Superb energy efficiency. Windows glazed to this specification can save you up to £14,200 over a 20 year period when compared to single glazing in a detached house (source: GGF calculator 2008).
Frame specification:
Fully reinforced impact resistant, five chambered 70mm first generation PVCu profiles. Reinforcing used is either box section
aluminium or galvanised steel. Frames are glazed using our high security tape glazing system. Transoms and mullions are mechanically jointed forstrength.

Locking devices:
Windows - All windows feature the S3 multi point locking system that combines both shootbolt and espagnolette locking points along with an anti hike security cam. Coupled with the S3 hinge security bolts these features are supported by BS7950 and BBA test reports.
- Three directional locking gives you the nearest you can get to the security of a non opening window.
Doors - Single and double doors come with an 11 point locking system incorporating shoot bolts, hook bolts, rollers and a dead lock. Hinge protection bolts complete the specification.
- All round locking including the vulnerable extremities of the door sash, helping to seal and secure.
Our guarantee and after care:
We offer a full ten year all inclusive guarantee which is insurance backed, as well as our unique Annual Inspection scheme which gives you a FREE health check on your installation for the ten years of the guarantee. Both the guarantee and the Annual Inspection are transferable to a new owner without
a fee should you move house.
