History

Formed in 1981 L&L Installations, primarily a partnership, gave a first class service to customers who sought "Value for Money" when replacing their windows and doors.

The Partnership moved to premises in Red Lane Tewkesbury in 1982 where a small amount of timber frame manufacture and assembly work took place. This allowed more quality control over their products and as the company grew more personnel were employed to cope with the increase in sales and installations.

During its early years L&L would be seen regularly every Wednesday and Saturday with their display unit at the Tewkesbury Market. This exhibition allowed full life examples of the products produced by the company to be viewed by prospective customers.

The market exhibitions continued for a number of years until premises adjacent to their own property in Red Lane became available and new offices and a showroom were opened. This soon became the main area of display and the extra office space provided by the larger building accommodated growth within the company.#

In 1994 part of the workshops at Red Lane were converted to allow for the manufacture of PVCu windows and doors. This was a turning point in the history of the company as it allowed complete quality control over the products being produced and sold.

During it's time at Red Lane the manufacturing department grew to a point where two shifts were required to handle the workload. This problem was eased when new premises were sought and in 2001 the department moved to a purpose built unit in Kennet Close on the Tewkesbury Business Park where all their PVCu products, including conservatories, are now produced.
